When most people think national parks, sweeping national treasures like the Grand Canyon and Yosemite come to mind, but with the launch of their recent centennial campaign, Find Your Park, the National Park Service is encouraging a new generation of Americans to discover and explore the hundreds of monuments and protected parklands across the country.
Just in time for the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary year in 2016, the campaign calls on a range of Centennial Ambassadors from Bill Nye to Bella Thorne to share their favorite parks in their own backyards.
Our campaign will encourage Americans to ‘Find Your Park’ – to discover a personal connection to a place or a story that provides inspiration or enjoyment, and to then join us in our second century of stewardship of America’s most treasured places.
